Burrata is a fresh cheese with a similar appearance to mozzarella but inside it contains a soft heart of stracciatella, that is fragments of hand-spun pasta filata and fresh cream.
Originally from Puglia and awarded the IGP (Protected Geographical Indication), it has an elastic and filamentous consistency and a sweet and savoury flavour at the same time. It is creamy, tasty, unique.
The 100% buffalo milk from Campania, produced entirely by the same company that owns both the stables and the forage, gives the Burrata a taste that makes it excellent for both appetizers and first courses, but is also used on pizzas in gourmet version.
