Kefir is a Russian drink which is obtained from milk-by products. Usually made by cow, sheep or goat’s milk, it is as tasty and nourishing if produced with buffalo milk.
The buffalo kefir has a very liquid (a bit granular) consistency, and a slightly acidic but pleasant taste.
It contains a lot of high biological value proteins, calcium, phosphorus and vitamins, especially the B complex.
