A thin wrapping that at the first cut leaves out a dense and delicious filling of pasta filata and cream: the Burrata is an inimitable dairy product, to be tasted at least once in your life.
Produced with whole and 100% Italian cow’s milk from a renowned company in Sanza, in the province of Salerno, it is part of the cheese-making tradition of southern Italy and in particular of Puglia.
The filling is what is called “stracciatella”, a homogeneous mixture of pasta filata and fresh cream.
